Search helpclick to read how you can improve your search results

You can search across all serial number lists or narrow your search to a specific category (service branch).

A search will return all pages where the entered search term appears at least once, either as a whole word or as part of a word.

You can search for multiple terms by specifying whether results should include any or all of them. To find an exact phrase, enclose it in quotation marks.

You can use the ? wildcard to represent a single unknown character. To exclude results containing a specific term, place a - (minus) in front of that term. For example, searching F-101 -RF-101H will return all variants of the F-101 Voodoo, but not the RF-101H.

Note that many aircraft are not listed with their full serial number but only the part without the Fiscal Year. This has all to do with how the lists were set up initialy. Therefore, if you are looking for a specific serial number, try it without the Fiscal Year (like, you want to search for 80-0123, try 0123).

Search results will display all pages where matches were found. Below each result, you'll see how many times your search term appears on that page. Matches are shown highlighted. Clicking on a result opens the corresponding page at the first match, with all matches highlighted.

This can be a powerful tool when used effectively. Feel free to experiment, there’s no risk of breaking anything (hopefully!).

Tip #1: Clicking a result opens it in the same window. To open it in a new tab or window, right-click the link and choose the appropriate option (depending on your browser).
Tip #2: Most modern browsers offer a built-in page search feature, usually accessible with F3 or Ctrl+F. This can be especially useful if a page contains many matches.
